The Photoncycle system provides your home with electricity, heat, and hot water via solar energy, year-round. It includes compact underground energy storage based on our proprietary, patented solid hydrogen technology, that can store up to 10 000 kWh. There is also an overground unit for energy processing (including a lithium-ion battery for short-term storage), and solar panels (if required). Additionally, we manage the trading of surplus energy production for you.
The Photoncycle system stores energy when your solar panels produce a surplus or when there are negative prices in the grid. When prices peak, you can utilize the stored energy or sell it as electricity back to the grid. Your monthly cost for energy (including electricity and heating) through Photoncycle is fixed, and you will receive 50% of the trading profits.

Photoncycle enables the transition towards a more renewable energy system. On the household level, you can enjoy homegrown energy year-round. The system also supports the energy grid by balancing energy production and consumption peaks through storage and trading.
Photoncycle stores solar energy, ensuring that you have a supply of homegrown energy available year-round. When there is no solar production on your roof during the colder seasons, your house can utilize the energy stored in the battery or underground storage unit.
Installation of the Photoncycle system is included in your monthly fee. This means that you do not need to pay a large upfront installation cost, instead starting to save money from day one. Moreover, if you have a water-based heating system, installation should be completed in one day - carried out by one of Photoncycle’s authorized installation companies.
Your Photoncycle system is constantly monitored as a digital twin, and if there is a need for maintenance, this will be handled by an authorized Photoncycle technician. You will be notified if this occurs, but no further action is required from you. Maintenance is included in your Photoncycle subscription.
